D2.1 - Interim Report on a Vision for Active Ageing in Europe October

As a part of the ePAL's roadmap, this document presents the first vision statement and its instantiations for enhancing the active life of senior professionals in the European society. It first proposes an approach for building the vision. Then, applying this proposed approach, a first vision for extension of professional active life is both (1) systematically constructed through the analysis of drivers and trends in the European market/society, and (2) enhanced through the careful examination of a number of representative scenarios, while being partially validated through the involvement of a number of various types of stakeholders.

D3.1 - Interim Report on Gap Analysis

Having refined the Baseline and established a consolidated vision of how to help senior professionals extend their professional active life, the subsequent challenge is to identify the development needs (gaps), which will serve as the rough input for constructing the roadmap and reaching the stated vision of ePAL. We define the "Gap" as the differences which emerge from those practices identified in the Baseline studies carried out in D1.1 with those identified as an integral part of the Vision established in D2.1. The differences between the Baseline and the Vision will determine the overall Gap between current practice and a desired future.

D5.2 - Final plan for the use and dissemination of foreground

This document describes the plan for the dissemination of the objectives and of the results of the ePAL Project.
The objective of ePAL is to develop a roadmap to involve senior professionals in maintaining their active life and to define the way in which ICT Technologies can help in this specific field. The involvement of all relevant actors and stakeholders, is not only important in the initial phases of building the roadmap, but also important in involvement in future stages of the Project. In this line, it is also important to involve these stakeholders in the validation of
scenarios definition and in the results of our analysis. To reach the awareness level intended, dissemination has been supported by communication mediums, such as a web site, newsletters as well as inclusions of the results in mass media, like newspapers and magazine both general and related with elderly people.
In addition to this, project members have participated at conferences and workshops, and such activities have been arranged within the scope of the project. In this line, ePAL plans a much wider, regional and some international dissemination through a number of complementary channels such as international conferences, publications, a user group and direct contact with institutions and initiatives concerned with the project's main aims.

D6.2b - Roadmap - for Scientific and Technological Development towards extension of professional active life

This report introduces the results of the ePAL roadmapping initiative addressing the implementation of a new vision for extending professional active life. To support this vision, a strategic research plan for the development of a new digital ecosystem, covering the social, organizational, and technological perspectives, is proposed. In particular, collaborative networks involving a variety of stakeholders, e.g. senior professionals, intermediary entities, and beneficiaries have the potential of inducing more effective integration of seniors in the socio-economic system. Based on an extensive analysis of current and emerging organizational models and the analysis of a future scenario, a number of strategic actions are identified to properly adopt a collaborative networks approach to active ageing. A large number of stakeholders coming from different backgrounds have contributed to the design and
